Neither Rain Nor Low Inventory Is Negatively Affecting Dallas Home Sales

The on-going rainy weather has not prevented single family home buyers from finding their Dream Home.  Closings increased in April even though the low inventory trend continues for the Dallas area, with available pre-owned homes (resale) well below what we need:

 

 

 

 

And the average number of days on market shows a marked decrease from 2014 and 2015:

 

 

 

  

But the average price per square foot had a dramatic increase for our Dallas Real Estate market in single
family resale homes:
