Dallas Veterans Day Parade Cancelled Due To Weather

As reported by WFAA.com news, the Dallas Veterans Day parade canceled ahead of rainy, cold weather

Parade chairman Phillip A. Teipel confirmed the cancellation due to "severe weather" and "overwhelming safety issues."
 
 

Well, Mother Nature just couldn't play nice for today's Veterans Day Parade in Dallas, TX we actually have a "wintery mix" in the forecas.!  The Dallas Veterans Day Parade Committee is a subsidiary of the Greater Dallas Veterans Foundation. The membership consists of veteran organization representatives, civic leaders, and members of the active and reserve military components.

The Dallas Veterans Day Parade was to begin at 11 a.m. from the former Reunion Arena site and end at City Hall.

Once again I went in search of “freebies” for Veterans, as so many restaurants and other businesses are honoring our Heroes with specials to thank them for their service this Veterans Day.
