This Is Fall?

The first day of Fall began with a cool crisp morning and an afternoon temperature dropping into "sweater weather" range....NOT!

Here in the Dallas area we are still in the 90's - that's just not right!
We should be dipping into the 80's by now, but Summer is (stubbornly) hanging on.

What can you do - Fall may have arrived per the calendar, but Mother Nature has other ideas.  Have a great day!

Hello Conrad Allen

Oh sure, just rub it in (LOL)...I will be thinking of you when you are 4'-5' under in snow and we have 50-60 degree winter days.

The Farmer's almanac has said that this winter will be worse than last year.  We got a record 10 feet of snow last winter  4'-5' would be wonderful.

Good morning Lisa Von Domek,

We would not know its fall either except for the early morning temperatures (which is 69). We are still enjoying our grand-kids love to come swimming and spend time at Nana and Paw Paw's house so we don't mind the extended summer weather:).

Looks like Texas is still holding on to summer weather!  We are in the tropics which is summer year round, but I sure love looking at the pictures of the leaves changing colors!  Stay cool!

Have a great  day!

Good Wednesday morning Lisa Von Domek -

Yep, a weird Fall ...... Reminds me of that very old black and white TV commercial "Don't mess with Mother Nature".  We have and now she rebels.

Lisa Von Domek - Supposed to be in the low 80's and upper 70's this week. Great, except now I am alergic to something growing now and all the windows are open. Ah Choo! Sniff

Good morning, Lisa Von Domek ~ we are still pretty warm in Charlotte as well for late September. But the evenings are cooling down and we've had some lovely days in the 70's (just not enough of them as yet).

Good morning Lisa,

We have higher temps than normal and for sure do not want to feel the ones later next month! Oh well there is always Indian Summer to get us ready.

Make yourself a great day.

Lisa Fall has arrived here in CT both on the calender and temperature wise, so hang in there Dallas will soon see it as well :)

Same here Lisa. We're still hovering around the triple digits and it does not feel like Fall has begun!

Hi Lisa, I am certainly not looking forward to those fall temperatures. I would love to have more of those 90 degree days, or 80 would be even better.

Great seeing you again!

Lisa: It was in the 80s here with a pleasant light breeze. It looks like you have at least a few more days of hot weather!

Good morning Lisa. Landed in Florida last evening, it was 88 degrees, much different that what it was when we left Connecticut. You have similar weather.

Lisa, that so does not look like Fall temps -- and we have been in the high 80's too, just too warm!

Good Saturday morning Lisa. Now, those do not look like fall temperatures. We are certainly experiencing fall in our area.
