One of the many wonderful animal rescue organizations in the Dallas area is Paws in the City.  They have posted a list of tips to help keep your pets safe over the Halloween Holiday.  The link to their website is included as well - it might be the perfect time to visit them to meet the available to adopt pets and bring one home!

Lisa I so agree with this post particularly #4 is an issue most of the time we keep ours in another room... so they are "prisoners" for a few hours:)),but they are safe, Endre

my fur babies do not like costumes at ALL.  We keep them totally sheltered if we have trick or treaters, but we generally do not.

Lisa this is good information to pass on.  Most people with kids think of kid safety for Halloween, but I do not think it is the same with pet owners.  So this is good information to hopefully get pet owners to think about this.
