Texas Realtors Get Out The Vote Today - Important Propositions for Homeowners on the Ballot

Vote

Don't miss the opportunity to make your voice heard today.  Remember, if you don't exercise your right to vote - you can't complain about the outcome!  Regardless of what you might think, every vote counts.  This is your time to make your voice heard, and to tell all of the politicians what you really think - EVERY VOTE COUNTS!

Spread the word as there are important Propositions that you do not want to miss such as:

Not sure where To Vote in Texas?

On your Voter Registration certificate, you will see a precinct number. Your residence is located in a specific “precinct” or area within the county where you will vote on Election Day. In some cases, precincts may be combined to accommodate joint local elections, so always consult your County Elections Office in the days before an election for the address of the polling place where you’re to vote.

And, most newspapers print precinct polling places and addresses in the days before an election. If your county has supplied www.VoteTexas.org with its polling place information, you can also find that information by clicking here: County Precincts and Polling Place Addresses.

Lisa Von Domek I am sure there are so many other Propositions that will help the Peiople of Texas to gain more control over their elected representatives and control the erosion of society. Prop 1 IS a very good measure and I hope it passes.

Lisa: You are right, every vote counts! Good reminder for Texas residents to get out and have their voice heard.

Yes....vote or don't complain...and never say "never"....we do have a "transfer tax" which amounts to a sales tax in Wisconsin on real estate...you never know when politicians will get creatiuve with sources for funding !

Lisa, we've had this battle in the NC legislature, as well. We've had a basic (but small) sales tax forever, but they were trying to slap on more taxes related to home sales.  Fortunately, so far we've managed to beat back any attempts on additional taxations. Now off to vote, myself!

I hope everyone turns out to vote ...but I realize only a few will ...then those that don't always want to complain.

Have a great day!

Lisa this is a great job by the Texas Association of Realtors to help get out the vote, I wish ours had done the same.

Hi Lisa.  What percentage of voters turned out?  Did your candidates win?

Slap that idea down to the ground. Real estate is the heart of America and is taxed on the transfer. It doesn't need another tax.
