Spend Your Money Wisely, Invest in a Sure Thing - Yourself

Continuing education is key to
your success in any industry,
and in Real Estate it sets
you apart from the other Agents.

Marshall Field explained it well:

"The man who puts $10,000 additional capital into an established business is pretty certain of increased returns; and in the same way, the man who puts additional capital into his brains - information, well directed thought and study of possibilities - will as surely - yes, more surely - get increased returns.  There is no capital and no increase in capital safer than that".

Stay current on information and earn the designations that market you as the leading professional in your area.  Your local MLS board classes and the National Assocation of Realtors site will provide you with the information you need to achieve your goals.

Invest in yourself today!

Hi Lisa Von Domek ,  Very nice blog.  I see that  you practice what you preach.  I have always been impressed by the number of designations you have.  Buyers and Sellers may not have the slightest idea what they are, or even care, but the education is more important than impressing people.  I need to get busy and get my own designations.  Have a great week.

This is key Lisa, very well said. There is no end to education.

I think I have such great agent retention because I invest in tools to help them.

Absolutely, Lisa.  An investment in ourselves is one that can never be taken away, lost or stolen. We should never stop learning.   Thanks for the post.

Hi Lisa.  Education is the difference between one year's experience ten times or ten years of experience.

Lisa Von Domek: Great blog.

We all need to keep learning. There is a common staying " what got you here, will not take you there" As business owners, we should be constantly learning.
