Summer just does not want to let go in Texas Dorie Dillard but it has been a mild one, so I don't mind a few more "hot" weeks'!

Lisa,

So much to do and see in Texas.  One of our friends took her sister for her birthday to see the museum in Dallas.  Her sister is very involved in the art scene nationwide.  We visited Dallas a few years ago and were impressed with all that is happening there.  One of these day, we will pop in and visit you  Thanks, for entering this contest and sharing your home with us.  A

We still have warm weather in Maryland as we approach the beginning of autumn.

Hi Lisa... I see Dallas is still hot in terms of weather. So are we in Charlotte, but maybe 5-10 degrees cooler. We still hit the occasional 90/91/92 degrees, but mostly in high 80's now. Can't wait for a bit of a cool off.
