As most people know, tonight is the first Presidential Debate between
candidates Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. I am curious to see just
how the ratings come in as so many seem apathetic to the political process anymore. Will Monday Night Football garner a higher viewership than
the Presidential Debate...it will be interesting to see.

Hi Lisa - tough call in the US, but I think the debates are going to attract foreign audiences (probably for the entertainment factor) and Americal football is not a favorite overseas, so I think debates win with the anticipated audience of around 100 Million.
Hi Lisa - this is a good question. We won't have to wait long for the answer.
Lisa,
For us neither is going to win our eyes. I would rather read my book...will read plenty of the newsfeed. A
Very Interesting, but the Debates will be more entertaining than football tonight.
Hi Lisa,,, was there football scheduled for tonight? Even Dancing with the Stars shortened their program tonight.
Hi, Lisa Von Domek - I think it's going to be close between The Voice & Dancing With the Stars followed by Football; then the debates.
I'm just not sure how much of the debate I can take tonight. I might have to defer to Netflix.
Lisa I would be very surprised is the debate did not win hands down.
It will be interesting to hear the final numbers tomorrow Olga Simoncelli
Very true Grant Schneider only about an hour before it begins!
While I would enjoy a book tonight Ron and Alexandra Seigel I just don't think I can skip watching this one live...
I agree Jerry Newman I think it's a "must see"
Yes Nina Hollander but it's on ESPN rather than any of the major networks tonight.
Interesting Patricia Feager and it will be even more intersting to see which one wins!
Belinda Spillman I have a feeling this debate will cover every type of movie genre (comedy, horror, drama, etc...)
You would think with such an important election it would George Souto, but...
Lisa
Tonight the debates will win the rates wars . . . .
Good luck and success.

A good question Lisa. We are watching the debate and I am scratching my head.
I wished I had worked on my entries to the AR contests and not watched the debate :)
Most people don't know the "rules of debate" she says as a former college debator...and will decide the person they supported "WON" whether or not that is really the scholarly case..
Hi Lisa. Good question. Will you post the results later today?
Good morning Lisa. I don't think there was a question. If the debate didn't win I would be surprised.
I think football took a hit last night. Honestly...I thought the debate was a worthless set of commercials and the questions did nothing to advance the narrative...just gotcha garbage.
Lisa
Check back in on Tuesday it's my understanding is that debates won the rating war.
Good luck and success.

Lisa, I am SUCH a huge football fan and I was flying in from Nashville last night and could not wait to get home to watch the debate! Later, realizing that there was a game last night, I wished I had watched that instead - we just watched more-of-the-same with the debate!! UGH!
