It's that time of year once again - time for the great State Fair of Texas...the greatest State Fair of them all! There is something for everyone to enjoy with rides, entertainment, games, and of course - FOOD! To review the events and plan your day(s) of fun, simply click on the photo below to be taken directly to the State Fair of Texas website.
And from their website:
The State Fair of Texas and great food go hand in hand.
Texans are some of the most innovative people when it comes to food because we’ve got food traditions from so many cultures. Though our loyal food vendors do love to try deep frying everything here at the State Fair of Texas, they can also take gourmet, regional, national, and even international dishes and put a spin on them as unique as the state of Texas itself. And, as always, the classics such as corny dogs and turkey legs can be found throughout Fair Park during the fair. We want to be sure to point you towards all of the great food options at the State Fair of Texas. Come out and try something new this year!

Lisa Von Domek Enjoy the festivities and have fun at The 2016 State Fair of Texas.
Lisa the Texas State Fair sounds like a special one, and hope you make time to go enjoy it :)
Everything is big in Texas, so I am sure the state fair is no different. It will be a lot of fun for all of those that are able to attend!
Lisa,
I hope you are doing that, so we can enjoy your pictures from the fair. A
I need to write a post about our annual fair. And plan a day to go too.
Sounds like a fun event Lisa Von Domek
We try to attend a few local fairs in western Pennsylvania each year.
I remember going to the State Fair every single year - without fail! I don't know which part of it I liked the most - the agricultural part (animals), the rides or the amazing food! And, I'm sure Texans do a State Fair BIG too! I hope you get to enjoy it, Lisa!
Good Morning Lisa - I did check out the site and certainly would be going if I were in the area.
