Monday is the day - the precincts will be open and ready for you to cast an early ballot for the November 8th election.
For more information for Texas, follow the links in the report below:
Many Texans vote early. Texas enables residents to vote in the days and weeks before an election to make the voting process more convenient and accessible. There are two ways to vote early: by showing up in person during the prescribed early voting period or by voting by mail.
Vote early in person.
Who is eligible to vote early? What are the dates for voting early in person?1) Any registered voter may vote early by personal appearance (in person).
2) Early voting by personal appearance for the November 8, 2016 Election begins on October 24, 2016 and ends on November 4, 2016. You may vote at any early voting location in your county of registration.
Vote early by mail.
You may vote early by mail if:- You will be away from your county on Election Day and during early voting;
- You are sick or disabled;
- You are 65 years of age or older on Election Day; or
- You are confined in jail, but eligible to vote.
- The Secretary of State’s office;
- The Early Voting Clerk in your county; or
- Download an application for a ballot by mail here.

Excellent advice Lisa. Vote and speak your mind.
We voted the other day as we will be at the NAR Convention on election day.
Noah Seidenberg anyone that doesn't vote, doesn't get to complain!
Evelyn Johnston the same reason that I am voting early this election too. Can't wait to see you and Larry Johnston in Florida!
I am voting tomorrow and just want to get it over with. This election has been so upsetting and our country deserves better.
By the way, I look forward to seeing you all in Orlando too. Just two more weeks.
Getting our vote in early.
Lisa Von Domek - thanks for the reminder to Texan voters - and all others, too.
I am always concerned about voting via Mail.... too much potential for fraud... never the less I do appreciate voting by Mail since I was stationed for four years outside the country and for me to vote I had no choice but to mail in my ballot, Endre
Happy voting everyone and may your life be spared as much politics as possible lol!
I find that being concerned about loading in the mail while valid, it's kind of the same thing as being afraid to make a payment online: everything is possible but not every really really matters.
Great reminder, Lisa. Every vote does count. Our early voting began yesterday, but I always wait for Election Day. It doesn't feel like Election Day to me otherwise.
We are making it a datea and taking an elderly friend to lunch....rather than being trampled on actual election day.
Good morning Lisa. Voting has never been more important. That said I have never understood early voting except for absentee ballots.
We all deserve better Debbie Reynolds and hopefully this election will get us that.
Debbie Reynolds and I can't wait to see everyone too!
I am as well Melissa Jackson !
No one should miss the chance to have their voice heard Praful Thakkar
I agree Endre Barath, Jr. as I don't like the mail choice either. But, I am glad for the early voting as I was worried about delayed travel plans causing a problem on the 8th for me.
Not casting a vote is not a choice Laura Cerrano !
Nina Hollander I typically do as well, but travel plans had me concerned about the possibility of missing the big day...and this election is too important to miss.
Sally K. & David L. Hanson I believe the polling locations are going to be very busy this year!
I worry that early voting has gotten a bit out of hand Sheila Anderson but this year I am glad to have the choice due to travel plans.
Hello Lisa and may the best man win
