Cooler temperatures are (finally) coming to the Dallas area and many of us will be firing up our fireplaces. In very old houses, it's important to get the chimney checked and cleaned every few years - especially in old houses.
Look at the size of that fireplace! I love it! You could set up a spit and roast a couple of chickens indoors! The smell would be awesome!

Having a safe fireplace and chimney that works well is important, and spending the money to have it properly inspected and cleaned makes a lot of sense. I tell homeowners to add this to the list for fall maintenance along with having their furnacess checked and cleaned.
