WE use the window kits also. Mostly because it helps keep the moisture off of the windows.
Not only does it keep the heat in but if you live in my part of the world it keeps the cold in as well:) great post, Endre

We recetnly replaced some vintage Pella windows from the 1960's in our home with new Pellas and the difference in utility cost is remarkable. Windows are a chief culprit for energy leaks.

This is so important this time of year. For one thing, I don't like to be cold and and second I don't like high utility bills.
