Brrrr....you can literally track the icy cold front coming in from the West on the weather radar from ABC affiliate WFAA.com.
Just look at that line of white coming to freeze us here in the Dallas area. With the rate the wind is currently gusting, it will be 30 degrees here before you know it!
And from their forecast...nights are going to be icy cold for the next week.

Lisa,
Bundle up and stay warm.
Happily we are not expecting rain, we are still recovering from the mudslides and our freeway access is still closed. A
I has bee realativly cold this year in Minnesota. Not record breaking but constant cold.
Lisa, there is only one thing to do... bundle up and drink hot beverages!
Stay safe and warm, Lisa... fortunately it will be warm in Charlotte in the coming days.
Lisa I know this is cold for you guys down there, but I would gladly trade those temperatures with you
Oklahoma City is worse but my good news is I head back to Flroida for two weeks, so back to shorts. FYI, it is cooler than normal there also but I can take it.
Lisa, it was 65 in Winchester today. It's supposed to be the same tomorrow, and then an artic blast. I don't which coat to keep out.
Ron and Alexandra Seigel (A) So glad to hear that more rain is not in your forecast. Hopefully the mud clean up will finish soon, so tragic the loss of life caused by that.
William Feela I have a feeling that we are going to have a colder than normal winter here in Texas
Silvia Dukes PA, Broker Associate, CRS, CIPS, SRES Hot drink, comfy sweat pants and a turtleneck...bring on the cold weather!
That's the agenda Nina Hollander I assumed our cold front would work its way to you - enjoy your warmer weather!
I will try to send some warmer air your way George Souto . The cold I don't mind, I just don't want ice...we aren't equipped to deal with frozen streets here!
Enjoy Florida Joe Pryor so cooler there means you wear longer shorts? LOL
The roller coaster weather makes it difficult to dress Mike Cooper . It started out in the 60's when I left for appointments this morning...but I had to have a coat when I returned home this evening!
Good evening Lisa Von Domek,
I wish you'd keep your Arctic temperatures in Dallas but I see you are pushing them our way again! Not looking forward to our week-end! Stay warm and bundle up!!
Morning Lisa.
It hit us yesterday afternoon. As I'm writing this the temp is 15, not counting the wind chill. I just may stay home today
We are expecting some cooler temps next week, Lisa... but you can keep your snow and ice!
Lisa, sure wish we would get some moisture, we have seen 50's and 60's and even into the 70's and NO MOISTURE. Stay warm my friend!
Hi there, Lisa. Wow, it looks like it's indeed cool for your neck of the woods. Those temperatures are similar to ours this time of the year. D
We had temps in the high 50s. But it is suppose to get colder tonight and this weekend. Stay Warm!
We have a very windy day in Maryland as another cold front moves into our area.
I am sorry Dorie Dillard but you know me, I am all about sharing! LOL
I've actually asked Sally K. & David L. Hanson to keep their cold air up North where it belongs!
I hope that you did stay in James Dray that is not weather to be out and about in!
Aw c'mon Nina Hollander Charlotte would be so lovely with a light ice glow! LOL
Hi Lisa... trust me... I can live without that glow!
Our air is dry, even with the bit of moisture we've been fortunate enough to get Joan Cox . I have humidifiers running to keep the static electricity down. I hope that we both get some rain soon!
Debb Janes EcoBroker and Bernie Stea JD I sure wish that you would keep the cold air up by you...stop sharing! LOL
You stay warm as well Rebecca Gaujot . I had to run errands today and it was very sunny, but windy and cool if you stayed outside too long!
Roy Kelley I hope that you and Dolores stay warm and indoors...it's a great soup day!
I agree Nina Hollander I don't mind a little fluff of snow, but I don't want any ice...Dallas can't operate with ice, it shuts our city down!
In Charlotte, snow or ice shut this city down in a nano-second!
