Enough Already, Someone Turn Off The Sky Faucet!

Well, North Texas needed rain and we are certainly getting plenty of it!  With several more days of rain still in the forecast, many areas in and around the Dallas Metroplex have already recorded six to eight inches of rain!  Flooding in several areas has been reported and drivers are having to pay extra attention to flooded roads and using extreme caution for safety.

We are supposed to have rain on and off until Sunday. There are already ponds of water standing on the sides of the road. I hope it doesn't flood homes.

I worked from my home office today Debbie Reynolds and have dry feet for the first time in days .  I hope the rain stays reasonable by you, no one needs flooding!

Looks like you may finally get a break on Sunday - about the time it moves into Charlotte!! We don't really need it either but, we'll take some of it off of your hands to give you a break from it!

Life is not fair, last I saw you sent me a comment about seven inches of rain, we are still under one inch of rain for the entire rainy season...Endre

Morning Lisa.

Your forecast looks like ours.  Our backyard flooded, thankfully it drains fast so bring on the rain.  In a couple of months we'll look back and wish it would rain again

Texas seems to go between drought and flood - and I am sure the flooding is related to the drought -

Good morning Lisa. I agree that heavy duty and continuing rain are not my favorites either.

Good morning Lisa - an over abundance of rain is certainly a problem.  Stay dry and hopefully the sun will come out.

That's a lot of rain, Lisa... we forget that too much rain can be as problematic as too little rain. Hope the sun comes out for you soon.
