It's just all about clouds today in Dallas...
I hope you enjoy these pictures that I captured while out for a stroll.
And, "The Cloud", an 1820 poem written by Percy Blysshe Shelley
The Cloud
I bring fresh showers for the thirsting flowers,
From the seas and the streams;
I bear light shade for the leaves when laid
In their noon-day dreams.
From my wings are shaken the dews that waken
The sweet birds every one,
When rocked to rest on their mother's breast,
As she dances about the sun.
I wield the flail of the lashing hail,
And whiten the green plains under,
And then again I dissolve it in rain,
And laugh as I pass in thunder.

Lisa that cloud looks like something out of a Ghostbusters movie
I agree George Souto or a flying saucer...like the clouds in the movie Independence Day when the spaceship was coming down through the atmosphere
Pretty clouds and the blue in the sky is very blue. Is it cooler now, Lisa?
Hello Debbie Reynolds we've dropped to the lower 90's and it has been wonderful...I hope the weather by you has been wonderful too!
Hi Lisa, Thanks for sharing the cloud pictures and poem. I like the curiosity and imagination that clouds can bring out in some people.
I could stop and look at the clouds all day long Lisa. I wouldn't get much work done but I sure would be relaxed. I also enjoyed your poem and picture support.
I like looking at the clouds and see them change right in front of me
One of the good things about Oklahoma is like Texas, the cloud formations.
Morning Lisa.
The clouds were in abundance around my neck of the woods yesterday. Sure did help with the heat
Awe that was a nice refreshing read to start my Manday! Thanks for sharing!
Hello Lisa, Thanks for sharing the poem and clouds with us here in the rain. Hope you have agreat week.
Good morning Lisa - they look mostly like cirrus clouds with a little hint of rain. Rain is good.
Good morning Lisa. What a neat poem and stunning photo you have shared.
Can't really go wrong with seeing clouds in the sky, unless I guess if they are mean looking clouds that are going to wreak havoc on the earth beneath us, haha. These clouds look nothing like that though!
Thank you very much for sharing your photograph and the paired poem.
We could use a little rain for the flowers in our garden.
Good morning Lisa, sorry I stopped by a little late after you posted this! Love the photos and poem that goes along with them and your post has been featured to the group:
