I Am Not About To Take This Lion's Pumpkin Away!

Fall is almost (officially) here I just had to post this one in follow-up to my earlier post on how to prepare your own Pumpkin Spice Latte!

Lion and Pumpkin

Reported originally awhile back in People magazine, this frisky feline is ready for Fall and obviously is craving a Pumpkin Spice Latte along with his keepers at the Ouwehands Dierenpark animal park in Rhenen, Netherlands.  But he does seem perfectly happy with this pumpkin instead.  Upon receiving the treat he promptly sank his teeth in - and take a good look at those nails that are firmly embedded into the sides...that pumpkin is not rolling away!

That lion can have ALL the pumkins and pumkin spice.  Ack.  Not a fan.  But I do enjoy fall.  I like the cooler nights when we still have warm days and I also really like my mama's dressing at Thanksgiving which is right after fall get rolling.

Dear Lisa,

Wow! Really pretty picture. At our zoo, they also come up with innovative ideas for keeping the animals from getting bored. They like variety in their entertainment & food just like we do.

One of my grandsons is into a pumpkin spice frap thing.  I wouldn't want to try and take that from him either.

I would not try to take it away either, that lion would probably snack on me too and spit me out, haha.

Hello Lisa,  I remember at our cabin in Pennsylvania, we would take pumpkins up amd chope them up, and at night, lots of deer would show up to feast off them, they love them.

Dörte Engel I agree, the photographer captured a gorgeous picture with this one.  Our Dallas Zoo also comes up with inventive ways to feed the animals and keep them happy.

So true Michael Jacobs without a calendar, the California weather can keep you guessing as to the season!
