For those who may be wondering - yes, it is still raining here in North Texas and it will continue to rain all day today in and around the Dallas area. Flooding is a growing issue and around town streets have high water standing or have been closed to prevent accidents and/or drivers being stranded - or worse. Today's radar (courtesy of WFAA.com) shows the current front pummeling us today:
Prayers continue for those affected by the recent huricanes and devastation that those events caused. The widespread tragedy has cost so many so dearly. Yes, we have rain in North Texas but this will end.
If you can help others, please remember that their are a number of wonderful charities that are coming to the aid of those in need. You can help, donations of any size will help!

I can't believe how much rain we are all getting! I am sure that you are about to float away
I sure hope you started your Ark. Won't be long before you need it.
Lisa - how are your "kids" coping with all of this water. Do they like playing in it?
Crikey, Lisa... sounds like it may be time to start building your own ark! Seriously, hope all is well and that flooding isn't too bad.
Good morning again Lisa. It has rained hard here for a couple of days although it has stopped now. It is hard to believe what Mother Nature can and does do. Be safe my friend.
Hello Lise Howe my yard is now a boggy swampland...and it's still raining...
We have a boat on standby William Feela LOL...our neighbors are on call!
They are having a ball splashing through the puddles Grant Schneider but since the rain is keeping their "critters" at bay, they want it to stop...they don't have any squirrels to chase!
This is really getting old Nina Hollander . We already had a record setting September for rain, our ground was well saturated. Now, with another 12" inches of rainfall, the runoff is getting a bit alarming.
hank you Sheila Anderson Mother Nature certainly seems bent on moisture right now, I wish we could share it with some areas that really need it!
I can remember not to long ago that Texas was in a draught Lisa Von Domek - Hope the water is draining ok in most areas.
Lisa,
The last two years have been full of natural disasters all over the United States. A friend of ours tells us that Earth is going through a realignment stage. Have a great week. A
Morning Lisa.
Our rain ended Monday, yesterday was cold but no rain. This Friday is the only real chance of rain in my area for the next 10 days.
