A friend just rescued two young puppies and welcomed them into her home, her older dachshund, Tanks is not too happy at these two new invaders.

Our family has been home to so many rescues and strays - all wonderful critters. The most recent is a Fox Hound who adopted my son when he was building a power line in North Texas - way out in the middle of nowhere. Puppy said "I'm going with you," and that was that. He lives with Grandma and Grandpa when Chad goes where he can't go along, but is perfectly content to live in a motel when weather and local regulations allow him to go along to work every day.

Morning Lisa.

Our Sheldon is kinda adopted.  He was found in a field, his fur was matted and apparently had not eaten in a while. He now is one spoiled middle aged man.

We never get those kind of expressions from our rescue cats Lisa. That being said I don't have the heart to tell them they're adopted. They've adopted us instead!

Lisa, that is quite a funny picture, and may be in the market for a new kitty soon.

Hi Lisa:

Love this post and that photo. We, too, have adopted all of our pets (cats and dogs) over the years and always feel so good about that!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Funny picture and I read all the articles about the change in attitude adopted pets have. Always heart warming.
