Hi Lisa - I saw plenty of fire pits in Arizona and hotels and resorts.  It gets chilly in the desert at night.

I've seen more & more fire pits in backyards these days as they've become very popular with homeowners. Great way to spend time with family & friends on chilly nights.

We love a fire in the spring and fall, sitting around it outside and enjoying the cool weather with the warmth from the fire making it bearable to be out when otherwise we would need to be inside.

My Son in law has one at their home in Ohio but to much snow and cold weather to enjoy it while we where there this  week.
